I got their name as a referral from a home remodeler who was sold on their business efficiency. Now I see why. Such a relief to have the help of these folks. Very professional and smart on climate control. No guessing around and hem- hawing, "might be this, might be that" kind of response you get from others.. Chris knows what he is doing, and instills confidence. The 3D team has the kind of people who you don't mind saying, just fix it ,whatever it is, and not have to bother with second opinions etc. I wish I had all the money I wasted with rookies in the past before I found these professionals. If you need heating or AC help just call them you will be pleased.

Kevin was the technician that came to do a cleaning on our A/C & Heating unit. He was a nice guy - very personable. He was at our home about an hour & explained everything he did (with pictures). The total bill ended up being less than we expected since our unit didn’t require a “deep clean” which is what I asked for. He could’ve done the “deep clean” that I had requested but the fact that he didn’t (since it didn’t need it), in my opinion, goes to show the kind of honesty the company believes in. Thank you 3D!

Chris came out and was very helpful with diagnosis on problems and what else need to do on making the system right. We had mold in the duct and we decided to redo the entire system. We are very pleased with the service we received from 3D Air. Our unit stopped cooling; and after taking the time to really look over and work on both the outside and inside portions, we were told that in all reality we needed a new unit. However, Chris presented us with the cost of getting our unit running again along with 4 different options of units in different price points that we could choose from if we decided to replace. We went ahead and chose to replace and are very pleased with the new unit as well as the installation process. The crew arrived in the timeframe that was given to us and worked steadily while being mindful of keeping things clean. This company is very professional and I would highly recommend their services!

3D Air replaced our old HVAC system. Cleaned duct work, installed a superior air filtration system, AprilAir, and a Halo UV system. Very satisfied with everything! Not a complaint to be had! Of four estimates total, 3D provided us with the best price for our budget, offering us multiple options to choose from, in order to provide us with what we told them we wanted done in our home.But, not only that. The initial inspection that Rodger provided to let us know what was going on inside our home's HVAC system, was definitely the other primary and motivating factor in our decision to go with 3DAir. They (Rodger) were the only one out of three other HVAC companies who actually opened up our old system, inspected the furnace, duct work, went into the attic spaces, checked electrical, and, took pictures inside the equipment to show us the internal condition of the system. None of the other companies we had come out, did any of those things. 3D was thorough from the get go! That's what impressed me. That's what I wanted to see. That definitely was the other factor in deciding to give our business to 3D Air. The entire removal and install was completed within one day, in order to get us back online and have cold air in our home in the middle of one of the hottest, muggiest weeks of the summer.Tweaks, fine tuning and final inspection were completed by Rodger a few days after. Rodger is extremely thorough, professional and efficient. He didn't leave until he made sure, and knew, that I was satisfied with all of the work that had been done. Impressive from beginning to end! 👍Everyone who came into our home to do the work, couldn't have been any more professional, nicer, or thorough. (same goes for the 3D folks who I only spoke with over the phone)Shannon, Rodger, Kevin, Keith, Clint, Shavarus, Austin... all extremely professional, efficient, and helpful!I could go on with my accolades to the company and crew... Chris was great to work with. He diagnosed an issue with our upstairs A/C unit and gave us multiple options for repairs. Used 3D service to purchase a new complete heat pump system a year ago. Did an excellent job at a competitive price. Not the cheapest but not the most expensive. Got first year maintenance with purchase, signed up for the next year. The technicians are always professional and explain what they are doing. Just recently had a problem thought it was my new ac, but it turned out it was fine. Unknown to me the roofers while installing a new roof sent a nail through my line set. Called 3D on a Sunday they were quick to respond and determined my problem gave me photos of nail through the line set and were able to get my system up and running the next day.

Our heater went out the day before i went in for back surgery. When i got home we called 3D and Rodger G. came out that day and inspected everything. He told me what was wrong and what my options were. He didn't try to pressure me into a new system but that was the smart option for us. Then the next morning the crew arrived and started removing the old unit. They were all very polite and professional. Everything was taken care of that day and i couldn't be happier. I have used 3D Air Services for 5 years to service my home and two businesses. Their services and products offered have been top notch. The service techs are on time, professional, and are able to communicate clearly what is needed and the process that will take place. Every time I call I easily get someone on the phone that is professional and efficient when handling my requests. They schedule my service for maintenance within any time that works with me. If I have an emergency they always come immediately and are prepared to handle whatever problem arises. I have had them out at 11pm and worked until 3am as well as on holidays and still received the same professionalism that I was accustom to during normal business hours. I am always impressed with how detailed they are when doing a simple service and cleaning. I have entrusted them to replace 2 separate hvac units, a water heater, and dryer venting. I have them service a separate unit that was installed before I knew of them. They treat it with the same respect that they do with the ones they installed. They have provided superior service and I am confident that what is replaced is going to give me plenty of trouble free years. I will continue to use their services on anything else I need and I am more than happy to give them a recommendation if needed.

Excellent experience with Rodger and crew, from estimate to installation. When my mother needed to replace a 24yr old Carrier system, we got estimates from 5 companies; one for Carrier, two for Bryant, one for Lennox, and one for Heil. 3D Air's proposal was not the cheapest, but also not the most expensive, and (1) Rodger was the most thorough in his visit; (2) others charged extra for duct cleaning/sealing and/or didn't include a filter or sanitizer/UV; (3) others proposed reusing the lineset, which I was just a little skeptical of with it being 24yrs old (or older); (4) nobody else considered whether rooftop venting required updating; and (5) the next closest offer included less labor warranty or a very expensive option to extend from 1yr to 10yr. In addition, 3D Air's front office was very responsive by email to requests for changes to the proposal options. Plus, they offer competitively priced annual service plans. After deciding to proceed, the time from signing to install was minimal, and the installation crew worked politely & efficiently and the results reflect an attention to detail that provides a lot of peace of mind. The new system is running great. Thank you!

3D Air is truly a customer oriented company! I was not able to be home while they performed some work at my home and on my HVAC unit. However, they made my wife who was home with our twins feel very comfortable and confident in the work they were performing. Guy came out. I knew i had a leak and i complained about how my previous HVAC guy would just put in refrigerant at $100 per lb. He said they didn't just do that and he would try to find the leak. He pulled off my coil panel said its rusted out and we needed new coils or a new unit. He was really pushing the new unit, we decided to wait and just get r22 put in. He charged way more than i expected, he half put back on the panel so cold air was still leaking out into the attic like crazy. I managed to find the leak myself with a $20 sniffer off Amazon and I repaired it. It turns out the coil manifold wasn't rusted bad like he said. I feel sorry for people who just take these guys word at face value.

3D Air really knows what they're doing when it comes to customer service! They replaced both of my thermostats with new 'smart' models and walked me through the entire process. It's been the first time Alexa has actually listened to me since getting it a year ago!Chris was super helpful and knowledgeable. We had an 18 year old unit that finally bit the dust on Sunday...mind you in the middle of a down pour from Hurricane Nate. I called 3D and they said they would have someone out between 2-2:30. Chris called and showed up at 1:15pm. He took his time, worked on the unit and gave us an estimate for the repair but also to replace the unit. We decided it was time to do so and so they got on it the next day replacing the unit within a few hours. The unit has been installed for a day and is running great, very quiet and the installer even leveled out the area where the heat pump would sit to make sure it was balanced properly. I can't stress enough how much customer service makes a difference for us and Chris and the crew at 3D really did a great job.

The service has been impeccable, and while knowing nothing about HVAC the quality seems beyond reproach as we have had no problems.Chris is the consummate professional. We have had them put in an AC unit and have a maintenance contract with them and have been very pleased. Next is a duct re-work. They have put no pressure on us to have that done, but has been mentioned on several visits and we finally decided to get 'er done.

We called 3D's main number and Chris called us back promptly. Chris was their prior to his ETA. He was friendly and professional and gave us several options as to how we could proceed. We needed to replace our AC system. From the person on the phone, technician, and the installation crew, everyone was courteous, informative, and on time. We had our entire system replaced within 24 hours of our after hours and on a holiday service call.

Had an AC issue caused by my roofers who then called 3D Air to check on it. Chris came out within an hour and confirmed the issue. His recommendation helped me recover funds towards a new AC unit. The new unit was installed within 2 days with no issues. Very professional installation and customer service. Chris answered all of my texts within minutes I look forward to the new relationship. Chris is very knowledgeable about the industry, doesn't mind answering questions, and offers great feedback to keep your system running great year round. We've been using them for years and have never had an issue or been disappointed. The maintenance plans can't be beat and you know they are always a phone call away when you need them.

3D Air installed a mini-split system for me three years ago and did an excellent job of that, and were nice to work with, especially because they patiently explained all that I needed to do before having the system installed and how it all worked. They also installed the main house unit when the house was built, and came out one time at no charge to make an adjustment I requested. So even though I have free semi-annual inspections of my main house unit with Sears whole house warranty, I do not use that and instead I pay for 3D to come out and 'tune' my unit and clean the coils, etc. I trust them more, and they are more professional. Today the service representative was Kevin and he was excellent in terms of doing the work and explaining all of it to me. I like to understand what all is involved in this sort of thing.

Our heat pump died. Chris came out the same day I called to scope out the replacement and other work we needed (move a duct and replace hot water heater). Unlike the other two companies that we consulted, Chris prepared his pricing for us before he left our house. His pricing came out slightly higher, but his professionalism and three years of labor coverage made the choice easier for us. They came out the day after we awarded the job and stayed until everything was done and cleaned up. They ran into a little snafu when a water shut off valve malfunctioned - not their fault. But they stayed, sent a guy to Lowe's to get a replacement, and fixed it with no additional charge to us. We are very pleased withtheir work and how quiet the new Bryant 15 SEER heat pump is. Time will tell how much our energy bill drops, but we feel confident Chris and his team will be there for us should we need them.

Initial visit was great and helpful. Fixed the problem quickly and answered all of our questions. We even decided to sign up for yearly service maintenance with them. Unfortunately, after paying for it and being told someone would call to start the maintenance the next week we never were contacted during the next three weeks. I finally called and cancelled and was told they would send the refund. I would recommend them still for a one time fix but not the annual service contract.

VERY unprofessional. Called to have an estimate on an A/C repair. Scheduled for the next day between 8:00-10:00 AM. I stayed home from work to meet with the repair man. Recieved a call shortly after 8:00 to inform me that due to an emergency it would be closer to 10:00 AM and maybe a "tad" after before he could get there. This was fine with me. 10:40 AM had come and gone and nobody had showed up or contacted me. I called 3D Air Services and all circuits were busy. I left a message and number to call me back and how nobody has showed up or contacted me. Never got a call back. I had to go back to work and decided to call on my way at 12:28 PM. I get in touch with someone, who asks who I am after explaining how nobody showed up or contacted me. I hear "oh yeah....the estimate....". She apologizes and explains that there was an emergency and they can have somebody out later that evening. So after work close to 5:00 PM, the original repair man shows up to do the estimate. I explain what is wrong with my unit and what I THINK might be going on. He uses no equipment and only goes into the attic and outside to look at both units, with only pen and paper (NO TOOLS). I believe he recorded the model information and that was it. He then basically agrees with one on my suggested problems being that it could be the TXV valve on the inside unit. He says he is "95 - 100%" sure that is what it is. Used no equipment or tools to verify this would be the fix. He then left and said he would give me a call this morning with an estimate. It's now 12:30 PM. No contact from them still. Will never use this company. UNPROFESSIONAL!Edit (After 3D Air responded): It is really sad that this company is lying about calling me and leaving me a voicemail with a message on the estimate. This is completely false! There is only one number that they have from me. They did not call. And how gracious of you guys to not charge for a service call, when he literally just walked in the house with a pen and paper. And was simply looked at the unit in the attic and the unit outside. The unit upstairs has several phillips head screws for panels that are secured to the unit. There is no way he could have diagnosed that is was a TXV valve with pen and paper. I even offered a screwdriver for using on the unit up in the attic, to which he said he didn't need. All this still doesn't take away from nobody every calling me back in the morning of the scheduled appointment to let me know that nobody was showing up. Believe who you want. This was still UNPROFESSIONAL!

3D Air originally came to my home to service our unit for the Summer before we discovered a much more serious issue. 3D provided a detailed plan to eliminate the problem with a cost effective method of payment for a very unexpected problem. Their service techs came back the next business day to fix the issue and the unit is working better than it was when it was originally installed. Their reps are very friendly, informative and professional. They also cleaned up behind the work and left the house as clean as it was when the techs arrived. I would recommend 3D Air to anyone with HVAC maintenance or repair needs and I will continue to use them as my HVAC service provider in the future.

We first encountered 3D Air over a year ago when another, not to be named, firm try to scam us on a simple service call and even sabotaged our unit in an attempt to get us to buy a whole new unit at an inflated price. We came across 3D through some other contacts and Chris stopped by, fixed the original problem (simply a clogged drain line), found and corrected the problem created by the other contractor (loosened valve to drain the Freon to make it look like the unit was faulty) -- all at a normal service call rate. We have trusted Chris and team ever since so this year when our unit went out for real we called Chris. He quoted good quality units at a very reasonable price and the whole process was fast, efficient and very professional. I would not hesitate to recommend 3D Air to anyone needing a trusted HVAC expert.

I had 2 heat pump units that died so I went down the list of EBSCO recommended contractors for Birmingham. I had one company come out to get my first quote. The price seemed high and the salesman was not especially personable or helpful. I needed another quote and Chris from 3D Air services came out and had a look. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He saw things that the other contractor did not, such as a poor duct work design that was choking air to a particular room in my house. He explored a couple of options with me and we settled on the best solution. He really inspired confidence and wrote me a detailed quote for a fair price to replace both units with 2 different brand options.The installers were also knowledgeable in answering my questions and addressing my concerns. Chris showed up on the first day of the install as well, which was good to show that the salesman didn't just wash his hands of me after the sale. The installers worked hard for 2 days and got everything installed in a professional manner. They put down mats on my floors to minimize mess and swept up on their way out at the end of each day.Overall I am very pleased with 3D Air Services. The service was professional top to bottom and I always felt like the employees were being honest with me. I will absolutely recommend them to friends and family members in the future.

We have used 3D Air Services several times, because we have a number of units in our large building. Every time we call, they respond quickly, usually coming out the same day. They replaced an aging unit with a great Carrier unit, and it's working well; but when we called them out again, expecting to have to replace another, they simply replaced the thermostat instead, solving the problem and saving us thousands of dollars. I highly recommend them for their efficiency, honesty, and general attitude. Even the woman who answers the phone is part of the same company-wide excellence!

Our first experience with 3d air was a few weeks back with Roger. Our unit had stopped working, due to the wires being fried. Roger was so nice and such a godly spirit. Roger suggested that it was about time to replace the 30 yr old unit. Fast forward to a month later, we decided to upgrade our system. This time Robert and Austin did the work. They were extremely helpful and hard workers. Got the job done in a timely manner and left us with a new unit that cools like no other. 3D Air really knows what they're doing when it comes to customer service! They replaced both of my thermostats with new 'smart' models and walked me through the entire process. It's been the first time Alexa has actually listened to me since getting it a year ago!Chris was super helpful and knowledgeable. Had a very old heat pump go out Thursday evening (1/18/18). Based on FB post I'd seen, I gave them a ring late Thursday night. By 10:00 Friday morning, we were already in process of installing a new Bryant heat pump system. Kevin Burke, Roger Gilham and the entire crew were outstanding and super easy to work with. Couldn't be happier with the new system or the really nice job they did with the install. New heat pumps are not cheap by any stretch, but they also have some great financing options. We'll definitely be using 3D again. Highly recommend them!

We had been trying to help an older lady in our neighborhood get her heat fixed. It went out Saturday. By Tuesday, 2 companies who had said they would fix it had delayed her again. With the 2 coldest days of the year coming, We called 3D. Jeremy got someone out to her house in about an hour. Never on time. My wife waited for over 3 hours yesterday for the guy to come over after we where told he would be over at 1pm. And he never showed up she called last night and left a message no call back called to day and left messages. She received a call back from there office and the lady said that the repair man came bye yesterday but u where not home that's a bunch of bull. Then the lady asked if he could come bye today my wife said no because we are both at work and then the Lady says see does not think he will be able to make it tomorrow it's going to have to be Friday. I glad we are not the ones paying for this that its my landlord but I will never recommend this place to anyone. All we want is for are heater to work right and back to the way it was before these people from 3D started working on it.

The worst experience I've ever EVER had with an air conditioning repair company. The technician saw a lady by herself with a baby and decided to double the price of freon just because he knew I would not know any better. You couldn't ask for a more professional and trustworthy company to service your heating and cooling system. I call Chris at 3D every spring to service and clean my a/c and every fall for the gas furnace. He does great work at very affordable prices. The office staff are always friendly and very flexible on scheduling.

06/22/19 Another great experience with 3D Air. Called at 2PM when it was getting hot in the house and the condenser fan wouldn't come on. Fifteen minutes later, Kevin's smiling face was at my door and fixed the problem. I just love the customer service at 3D Air! Thanks y'all!3/22/17 3D continues to be a five star company for me. Always friendly, competent and thorough. I called at 9PM last night when the AC wouldn't come on. Roger answered the phone and Kevin was here at 9AM. He was extremely professional and kept troubleshooting until he found the source of the problem. Can't thank them enough for taking such good care of me. I've been a customer since 2012. The office staff is also very friendly and competent. Thanks go out to Erica for working me in. 12-6-13 Exceptional company. Friendly, on time, best prices and great service. They even found a rebate three months after system was installed.
